World Art Dubai is an annual art convention featuring artists from all over the world. From sculptures to digital art, oil on canvas, resin art and handicrafts; the event takes the viewer on a captivating tour through the state of the art world as it stands.
The platform functioned as a marketplace as well as a series of exhibits. It showcased interactive installations right next to live graffiti with DJ's to set the mood. The artists themselves accompany their art allowing for personal interactions that you cannot get through looking at a picture of the work alone. Various elementary and secondary schools also showcased the crafts and creations of their students.
"It is a good opportunity to meet collectors, receive offers from art galleries for different collaborations, promote myself and receive enquiries from people for special art commissions based on my work. I am based in Dubai so I think this is an event that I cannot miss as an artist. Also, it is beautiful to meet artists from many other countries there, I always learn new things from them. " says Almudena Angoso, a Spanish artist based in Dubai who exhibited her artwork at the event.
